ABOUT THE ORGANIZER

Stacey Funt, MD, NBC-HWC

Hi! I am the founder of Lifestyle Health Adventures with a mission to create soulful group adventures based on the tenets of lifestyle medicine. I am a part time practicing radiologist, national board certified health/wellness coach, CTI trained Iife coach, global adventure traveller, and mother to 19 year old boy/girl twins. My favorite aspects of coaching are at the deeper level of identifying what we each value and desire most, becoming conscious of our thoughts and beliefs, and creating shared experiences that inspire and connect us to our core, and each other.

I also love world travel, hiking and a new adventure! I am a creator and the itinerary becomes my expression. My favorite recent trip experiences are trekking on the Laugavegur Trail in Iceland with my husband and meditating with buddhist monks and bathing the elephants in Thailand with my daughter. I feel most connected to myself and awake to the world around me when I am in nature.

I am so excited to for this trip as we move our bodies, play in nature, relax and have fun together in gorgeous Southern Utah. I look forward to meeting you!

What is the cancellation policy?
There is a $200 nonrefundable deposit at the time of registration (after viewing and signing waivers) and full payment is due by January 28th. Much of the costs are fixed and this is a nonrefundable trip.  Thus, Trip insurance and health insurance are mandatory.

**DO NOT BOOK FLIGHTS UNTIL DISCUSSING PLANS WITH THE ORGANIZER

Although unlikely, we reserve the right to change the event due to unforeseen circumstances. Your deposit would be refunded if the event is cancelled by the organizer.

Where can I get trip insurance? Trip insurance is not expensive (price depends on where you live and your age). It can cover you if you get Covid, if a family member at home gets sick, and offer you emergency medical care and medical evacuation coverage. We can have a travel agent help you with this, we can offer you a cost comparison website  or you can get it on your own.

Is there a time zone difference between LV and St George? Please note, Las Vegas is a different time zone than Saint George and Springdale, Utah. (Las Vegas is one hour earlier than St. George and Springdale)

What is the weather typically like in early March?
The weather can be very variable in early March, right before all the crowds come. In 2022, the high at 3 pm was between 51-53 degrees and the lows at 8 am was 31 degrees. In 2021 and 2020, the high was 75 degrees. It is possible there will be snow and some trails may be closed. We will check the weather right before we leave and advise you to bring crampons if you want to hike and snow may be on the ground. The weather may affect the itinerary.
