Our trip starts in Florence and ends at the Rome Central train station, where you can catch a train to the Rome airport, or high speed trains back to Florence or other cities.

We are women, primarily in our 40s to 60s, who have a deep passion for exploration and self-care. We love to embark on adventures, appreciate diverse cultures, natural beauty, and enjoy the company of other remarkable women. If you're open-minded, adaptable, and ready to embrace new experiences with a positive attitude, this journey is for you. This trip includes moderate hiking in the mountains and E-biking in the countryside, so a reasonable level of fitness is required. Read the next section and let's talk if you have any questions or concerns.

This is a multisport trip and mobility is necessary. The two days of biking is on e-bikes. This is how we will explore the regions and while they make uphill much easier, you will still be on a bike for a good part of the day mainly on small dirt paths with breaks for walking around. If you want a greater challenge, you can turn off the petal assist. Bike shorts may be helpful.

Each hiking trip is approximately 2-3 hours, considered easy to moderate and is optional.  Good footwear is necessary.

MEET YOUR HOST

Hi, I'm Jeannette—an educator, outdoor enthusiast, and mom of two adult kids who live in Montana. I'm an avid reader, cyclist, hiker, and van camper, at home whether I'm pedaling remote gravel roads, camping in the backcountry, or enjoying a meal with good conversation.

I love bringing people together through shared adventure. Over the years, I've organized countless hiking and bikepacking trips, all designed to build confidence and spark joy. I believe in the transformative power of nature and travel to shift our perspectives in meaningful ways.

Now newly retired from education and administration, I'm thrilled to step into this next chapter. My approach to wellness is rooted in staying active and creating community. I’m so excited to host adventures for women that foster learning, connection, and rejuvenation.
