LH Adventure Travels offers wellness adventures centered around the core principles of Lifestyle Medicine: Movement, healthy eating, stress management, and building community. These adventures are fully experiential, with no formal lectures. Many healthcare professionals participate to enhance their care delivery, support personal wellness, and prevent burnout. Discussions about lifestyle medicine and self-care naturally occur during activities such as hikes, yoga classes, cooking sessions, and group meal discussions.
LH Adventure Travel does not provide or administer CME or CE credits. Any continuing education opportunities mentioned here are offered entirely by independent providers, and all eligibility, approval, and reimbursement decisions are determined solely by those organizations.
While LH Adventure Travel is not certified to offer CME (Continuing Medical Education) or CE (Continuing Education) credits, there are two independent options available for earning credits.
CME/CE
Learner+
LH Adventure Travel has partnered with Learner+, a platform where clinicians earn CME/CE credits for reflecting on daily learning experiences. This option is available to Physicians, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Physician Assistants, Dentists, Social Workers, Athletic Trainers, Dietitians, Chaplains, and other healthcare team members.
CME
Physicians also have the option to earn CME through a 28-credit Category 1 program on physician wellness and "Curing the Inner Critic," offered by Dr. Kara Pepper. You can view this here. This program can be completed independently before or during the adventure in your free time, with some material woven naturally into group conversations. The program, usually priced at $350, is available to our guests for $150.
