We’ll wander vibrant markets, visit craft schools, and stand before the towering Buddha Dordenma, gazing out across the valley.
On day 2, a scenic 2.5 hour afternoon hike leads us up to the cliffside Dodeydrak Monastery, where we join the monks for evening prayers and chanting, share a simple supper, and take part in a guided meditation within the monastery walls.

A gentle hike takes us to Khamsum Yulley Chorten, set high above the river with views across terraced fields and villages.
One afternoon, we’ll step into a traditional farmhouse for a hands-on cooking class, learning family recipes before sharing the meal together. Afterwards, we’ll try our hand at archery, Bhutan’s national sport — a playful and joyful connection with the local culture.

Along the way, we’ll pause at the teahouse for sweeping views before continuing upward.
We’ll also visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples, and wander through Paro town’s shops and cafés.
